All though you didn’t love me I did learn so much about myself
How time in its own way can heal you a little bit
And how even painful memories allow a person space to reflect
Being ignored by you taught me how to listen to myself
I learned to fight some of the strongest urges I have ever felt for the better
I came to understand how beautiful and empowering the art of moving on can be
I am now rich in the experience of separating the past from from the future in terms of matters of the heart
From your coldness I began to see there were other sources of warmth
These other sources inspired me to keep on looking
To believe someone else could be out there for me

So I realize it sounds odd to say it now after all these years
Especially after all the hell I went through trying to convince you to notice me
But I realize now even though I never thought I would ever say this ever but thank you for rejecting me and for staying well away

1. They gormandize.

- I do not know what kind of help ice cream, chocolate, cake or any kind of food gives girls, but most of the broken-hearted girls look for these and eat as much as they can to forget the pain they’ve been through.

2. They become emotional.

- Some fragile girls lead to suicidal attempts, blades/razors, they change their fave bands to emo type bands but some just cry, to let it all out. Crying helps our heart to be free from the hurt and pain.

3. They become bitter.

- “Oh I can’t believe I wasted my time on someone like him!” That’s a common thing to hear from ladies who had just been through a break up. Girls tend to be bitter, to tell themselves and other people that that guy was not worth it, and so, they accept that form of bitterness as the truth.

4. They become vain.

- After break-ups, girls tend to look after themselves more. They spend more time beautifying themselves and thinking about themselves only. Some do it as a kind of revenge for the guy (‘coz with that, the guy might realize his mistakes) or some just do it to forget.

5. They look for other guys.

- Whether the guy’s better or not, as long as they find someone new, they tend to let go of their ex.

6. They go wild.

- Girls become flirtatious, go drink and go party. They have fun, all to forget one guy. They think that being single is not a problem.

7. They change.

- Girls change their hairstyle, change they way they walk and talk and dress. They change everything to forget why that guy liked him in the first place.

8. They just don’t think about that guy.

- Girls tend to keep themselves occupied and think about other stuff until they learn to forget and move-on.

9. They don’t do anything.

- Girls just act like nothing happened. They live out everyday as normal as they could, if she remembers the guy and becomes sad, she cries a little, but forgets about it after a while. She just stays herself. She just lets time heal herself.

10. They don’t move on.

- It sounds desperate, but yes, some girls prefer to still hold on to that guy thinking that maybe he’ll come back and everything’ll be back as it was. Some girls know that that guy wouldn’t want her back, but still loves him anyways, not because she’s obliged to, not because she can’t move on, but because she chose to and wants to, even if it hurts.
